Wall quilts
Wall quilts can be made in whatever size you want it to be. I have made ones that range from a large 30” x 30” to a mini one at 18” x 18”. Square and rectangle shapes work best. Be sure to measure the space where you want to hang, to be sure it fits. Another thing to consider is the larger the quilt, the heavier it will be, which will then require extra support.
All quilts are made with 100% cotton fabric.
Batting is a blend of cotton and polyester for maximized softness without drastic shrinkage.
All thread used, in piecing and quilting, is 100% cotton.
Wall quilts and hangings are made with 3 options of a sleeve for hanging purposes, so as not to put holes in your quilt:
1. Small triangles placed in each upper corner for the ends of a rod to be placed into. (as seen below)
2. A sleeve that is the width of the wall quilt, placed at the very top of the quilt running from side to side on the back of the quilt or at the top. A dowel would then be placed in the sleeve, to then be attached to the wall.( as seen below)
3. Tabs, or loops, that are attached to the binding at the top of the quilt. A dowel is then slipped through the tabs and attached to the wall. (as seen below)
Here is a selection of the many different kinds of wall quilts that I have made.

Above is a smaller wall quilt at 17 1/2” x 18”. The tea set is appliqued on. The “English Tea” is quilted on in black thread. The lilacs are also quilted on in purple thread, then colored over with a purple crayon (the crayon was then set with a hot iron so the wax will not bleed). (an original design)
