Baby quilts

Baby quilts can be made in a range of sizes, depending on what you want it to be used for. The standard sizes of a baby quilt is between 36″ X 36″ and  52″ X 52″. Some people like the ability of the quilt to “grow” along with the child as they become a toddler, so a larger  size of a quilt is desired, which would  around 46″ x 70″. If you are wanting this sized quilt as a gift, see if you can get the measurements of the mattress. Each manufacturer has their own sizes and crib mattresses are different sizes too.

A quilt to cover the child while in the car seat or stroller is also a nice option. This quilt would be 25” x 30”. The quilt for the car seat or stroller will have ties to help keep it attached to the sides. (such as the image below)

All quilts are made with 100% cotton fabric.

Batting is 100% cotton for maximized softness without drastic shrinkage.

All thread used, in piecing and quilting, is 100% polyester.
