It’s snowing again. Blah! I know, I know. I live in northern Wisconsin, so what should I expect? 70 degree weather? No, that’s for those crazy Floridians (and any one else who’s weather is like that today.) :0) But seriously, I think we are all fighting off a bit of cabin fever. I did some yard work yesterday and boy! did that feel good. I cleaned up the yard (except for the still frozen clumps of leaves) and it looks much better. When we started the upstairs remodeling in September, we had a chute (of sorts) going out the girls window into the dumpster. (see picture) I also raked up the remains of the stuff on the ground that didn’t get into the dumpster (you can see some of it in the picture).
I was going to rake in the backyard today, but it was too cold and began to “flurry” a bit before lunch. It has stopped right now, but it’s still too cold to go outside. At least the front yard and the construction remains are cleaned up.
Anyway, I need to finish up lunch. Jonah, Maacah and Isaac are playing with Adam’s infinite number of collected legos (he has horses, men, armor, shields, swords, bows, one shark, wheels galore,….. just to name a few). That should keep them busy for awhile. I intend (for those critics out there, but he shall remain nameless, I used the word “intend” on purpose) to work on the Christmas vests for my mother, that were supposed to be for last Christmas (sorry mom!). I missed Christmas and her birthday.
But look at it this way, now I’m early for Mother’s Day!
