It seems that everyone and their dog has a blog these days! If you know my husband and I, you would know that we are quite conservative. And so, we have friends that are equally, if not in different ways, conservative as we are. My husband found that a certain young friend of ours (I suppose “young” is relative. He’s only 3 years younger then us) has a blog. And my husband could tell from the names, that several of the people who have commented or “subscribed” to said blog are also people we know. Who are also conservative Christians. My husband and I were laughing about that last night. The way our friend started his blog was also comical. He said, “I will not start a blog, I will not start a blog….”. He said that over and over about 15 times. Then ended by saying, “Starting blog.”
We were laughing at me, too. I set up this blog for our family to read how the children are doing and such. But I don’t think any of them read this. I don’t think they even remember I’m here. So why do I keep writing and posting? I suppose it’s kind of therapeutic for me. I like to write and I like to think I have worthwhile things to say. Besides, I don’t do well with diary’s or journals. So this is a good way, and interesting way, for me to record things about our lives. I type much faster then I write.
Anyway, this will remain one more blog our there in cyber-space. One more blog that only two people read regularly (1 person being myself and the other my husband). One more blog written from a mother who thinks her children are adorable (at least on camera) and her husband the greatest catch ever. One more blog from a woman who attempts to worship her Lord with her life. One more blog.
