It snowed last night and the outside looks really pretty. Which, in turn, makes staying inside nice and cozy. We aren’t doing anything special today and that’s a nice change for once. I want to make Grace a new dress for Sunday and Isaac needs new pajamas, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m not sure I will today, either. The children are getting ready to go out and play in the snow.
Amy, at Amy’s Humbles Musing, had her baby girl yesterday; Elisabeth Hope. Congratulations Amy! I am soooo looking forward to the birth of this baby. We have about 6 weeks to go. My mother will fly in to Rhinelander on the 26th (the day before my due date). This will be #9 grandchild and she has never been to any of the births. So we are both praying that the baby will be born while she is here (she leaves for home on January 5).
Thanksgiving will be here at our house next Wednesday. Because two of the three daughters-in-law have family here in town, we don’t have the Dewing Turkey Day on Thursday. We did for awhile, but no one could stay around and it was too much to have 2 Thanksgiving meals on the same day. So now we have our meal on another day and everyone can stick around and we have a good time.
Well, as you can see, there isn’t much going on around here. And not much else to report.
And I’m really okay with that.
