It’s almost 9 am and I’ve already been up to long. Malachi decided to get up shortly after my husband left for work this morning and refused to take his bottle in is own bed by himself. So I brought him into our bed, then proceeded to have my hair pulled and get shrieks in my ear. Needless to say, I didn’t get much more sleep. Not that I got much before he woke up, either. But I suppose that’s just par for the course.
Anyway, we had a good weekend. Adam was home Friday through Sunday and that was nice to have again. Here is what we did on Saturday. It was a fun morning! It wasn’t too hot, yet not too cold. And it didn’t start to rain until we were all done. The “boys” have been working on their machines for a while and had quite the time throwing all that produce. I must say, that the watermelons had the best “splat” factor! (I realize that the videos don’t always show where the produce landed, but you still get the idea. They all were thrown between 15o’ to 300′ in distance.)
I was going to do some yard work today, but it’s not above 50 degrees yet, so I don’t think I will. We are making a new garden on the side of our house for both flowers and herbs. I was going to start this at the end of the summer, but our neighbor is giving us more peonies. So I’m doing it now. So, we’ll stay inside today and get things done in here. Maybe I’ll take a nap later.
That sounds better then digging up my yard anyway.
