I have a house~full today, so forgive me if this post isn’t long. I have an 8 year old, two 6 years olds, two 4 year olds, a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old. Whew! I have my nephews for most of this week, so that accounts for the 8 year old and one of the 4 year olds. I saw my other sister-in-law in the store this morning and she said she was still in a lot of pain (she is/did pass a kidney stone). I said I’d take her 6 year old until about 3 pm, so she could get some rest. Now I’m trying to think of different things to do today with them all. We were going to go to the VFW, where there are some pool tables, a foosball machine and other stuff. But there are ladies who play cards there on Monday afternoon’s, so I don’t think they’d appreciate me showing up with 7 children, 6 of which can talk and run around. Maybe tomorrow.
I was thinking of paper mache, but I don’t have any balloons. I do have some ideas to make puppets out of clay..we’ll see. I’d send the children outside to play, but it’s a windy, cold day. And there were a few snow flurries this morning. So that’s probably not a good idea.
Anyway, not much else to report. The weekend went by fine. We are close to finishing our bathroom upstairs. I’m hoping on Thursday we can get it done. Adam starts a new shedule today. It will be strange to have him home all day Thursdays and not on Saturdays.
Well, it’s lunch time and I have mouths to feed. Bye!
